Album Review — Surprise Party for the Introvert

My thoughts on Billy Moran’s debut solo album.

I have been a fan of Louden Swain’s music since I first attended a Supernatural convention in 2013. Rob Benedict, the lead singer of the band (and also an actor on the show), sang an acapella verse of their song, She Waits. I was absolutely mesmerized. Since then, I have been to numerous cons where Swain puts on a Saturday night concert, accompanied by other actors from the show.

I’ve attended multiple meet-and-greet sessions with the band.

I also had the privilege of attending an album release party in Los Angeles when Louden Swain released their No Time Like The Present album in 2017.

Clearly, I am a massive fan of Louden Swain.

One of my favorite parts of any Swain concert is watching the lead guitarist, Billy Moran, display his excellent guitar skills through every song. He continually pours his entire being into each performance, and his guitar solos are always fabulous to witness. So when rumors surfaced a few years back that he was interested in putting out his own solo album for the first time, I was beyond excited.
