A Saturday Night to Remember
When the lights go out, the show must go on.

I have attended numerous concerts over the years, but last Saturday night, Louden Swain (Rob Benedict, Billy Moran, Michael Borja, and Stephen Norton) put on a show quite unlike the rest. As the house band at Supernatural conventions, they are used to being quick on their feet, performing acoustic sets, and improvising when necessary.
Little did they know how valuable those skills were about to become.
The Saturday Night Special concert performed by Louden Swain (and various special guests from the cast of Supernatural) has been one of my absolute favorite events since it began in 2014. It's a night of music, fun, laughter, celebration, and mutual love shared by the fans, the band, and the actors. Due to the ongoing pandemic, a Supernatural convention in Toronto has not existed since 2019.
As a result, the crowd was exceptionally hyped up to be back.
The concert began with Louden Swain playing their appropriately titled song, Reunion, to open the show. It was fabulous to be back in the room with these guys after so long, and I was having a wonderful time. Then, after the second song, we were plunged into near-darkness as we suddenly lost the electricity with no warning.
